TAKE OFF

Diamond Take Off - Half Squirrel Cage
RUNWAY 09 LEFT - #3 + #1
RUNWAY 09 RIGHT - #2 + #4
From a "Little V" formation (3-1-2-4) the Diamond is formed right after take off as the #4 slot rudders in under #3 to line up with #1 and close the Diamond.

Solos Take Off - Dirty Roll & Split S
RUNWAY 27 LEFT - #5 + #6
From a wedge right the two solos take off simultaneously BUT #5 will perform a DIRTY ROLL at 40% speed and break PORT (left) going CLEAN asap and climbing on a circle pattern to 250 meters while #6 holds a couple of seconds before going CLEAN over the deck (5 to 10 meters) and pulling a vertical at 40% speed to perform a SPLIT S and come 090 over the field, then break PORT (left) and climb to mirror #5 - #5 will maintain a 40% constant speed - #6 adjusts.

PASS ONE

DIAMOND
Diamond 360 Pass - SMOKE ON
In relatively slow-speed flight at an altitude of 150 feet, the four aircraft pass in a banked 360 degree turn at 35% speed to give the audience a close look at the minimum wingtip to canopy distance.

SOLOS
Opposing Horizontal Roll
Symmetrical drop to 90 meters as the Diamond executes PASS ONE, stabilize and turn to each other on the region center axis - SMOKE ON. Go head to head, slightly aside, and roll to STARBOARD (right) just before contact at centerpoint, completing two 360 rolls - SMOKE OFF - then turn PORT (left) and climb to 250 meters.

PASS TWO

DIAMOND
Diamond Aileron Roll - NO SMOKE
As the Diamond approaches centerpoint all four pilots roll their aircraft 360 degrees simultaneously - FIGHT MODE.

SOLOS
Section High Alpha Pass
The two solo pilots line up on a wedge right at 250 meters after PASS ONE and drop together to 90 meters as the Diamond executes PASS TWO. Coming to one of the runway's ends they turn to it at 35% and stay CLEAN - SMOKE ON - dropping to 30% and virtually standing #5 and #6 on their tails. At the end of the axis - SMOKE OFF- #5 breaks first to PORT (left) and climbs to 250 meters, #6 goes vertical and follows spaced to resume the symmetrical hold pattern.

PASS THREE

DIAMOND
Dirty Loop
Assuming a DIRTY full configuration (gear, flaps & hook), the Diamond enters the region with SMOKE ON already and performs a slow speed loop over centerpoint.

SOLOS
Fortus - NO SMOKE
The two solo pilots line up on a wedge right at 250 meters after PASS ONE and drop together to 90 meters as the Diamond executes PASS THREE. They slow to 35%, go full DIRTY before turning to the runways axis and as they align with the axis #6 rolls 180 degrees and stays inverted forming a mirror image called "The Fortus". Near the end of the axis #6 complete the 360 degree roll and stays on right wedge as the two solos break to PORT (left) and climb to 250 meters.

PASS FOUR
Right Wedge Parade Pass
The Diamond forms a wedge right tight formation and enter the region at 35% speed with SMOKE ON already to fly a wide arc leading them South.

SOLOS
Drop wedge right to South to catch the 4 plane wedge as they exit the region and establish a full 6 plane wedge right formation preparing to the Carrier Break.

LANDING
Coming off the region after pass FOUR the six planes form a wedge right formation and execute a timed Carrier Break in CLEAN configuration.
Leader calls BREAK - each plane breaks after 3 secs apart.
As they turn they lower gear and flaps. Land by numbers.
